Buckingham Company Keeps Investing!     Capacity up by 66% !

T King Associates who have been established in Buckingham for nearly twenty five years as  an embroidery and printing company for uniforms ,work wear and promotional garments have continued their investment plans in people and machinery.

Managing Director Trevor King said “it’s essential in today’s competitive market place to be able to produce the best quality embroidery or print and to do that we need not only the best people but the best machinery to do it.

We have this week taken delivery of another  two of the latest computer controlled Taijima embroidery machines and these plus a multi head machine delivered pre-Christmas  mean that our embroidery capacity has increased by 66% enabling us to service jobs from small quantities to the very large volume orders even faster and more efficiently.

To get the best results from our machines we have to have the best people operating them and we have been fortunate to recruit some excellent staff in the production, design and sales departments over the last few months.

Improvements have been implemented throughout ensuring not only excellent quality embroidery and printing of logos but improved packing and distribution to make sure that all the garments and products arrive in first class condition.”

Operations Director John King added   “we now have our own  “in house “  graphics and  art room that has given us the potential to give greater service levels than previously possible with the ability to cover all our clients need under the one roof  which must be good for continuity and quality.

We don’t see ourselves  as the  number one player in our field and don’t really want to be but we can offer fantastic quality and service from what is still a family firm and our team are second to none when it comes to looking after our customer’s needs.

Currently we are also working on a new bespoke software system to take orders right through the system smoothly and efficiently reducing chances for error and shortening the time from order to despatch.

The family aspect of the business is really important to us and we regard all of our employees as part of the family with a great working atmosphere here that you would be hard pressed to replicate in a big multinational.

Amazingly enough although we have been in Buckingham over twenty years and have supplied thousands of school uniforms locally we still get  people saying “ I never knew you were there “ so perhaps we are still one of Buckingham little secrets ?

Buckingham has been good for us over the years and we really appreciate all the local support we get from businesses ,schools and individuals locally as well as throughout the UK .Nothing can be taken for granted however and we have to sustain our edge by continuing the investment in people and machines.
